Mail quota
<seo title="Mail quota" metakeywords="mail quota, email quota, mail quota exceeded, mail over quota" metadescription="Mail quota" /> <div align=justify>In some cases mailboxes under your hosting account cannot receive messages any longer due to mail quota exceeded. The solution here is to increase the mail quota for the mailbox in question. What is mail quota and how exactly it can be changed? The maximum amount of space provided to an individual email box is known as email quota. This sets the maximum amount of space usable for that particular email address which includes messages (and attachments) stored on the server in the inbox, sent items, trash, etc. Note that email message file attachments can take up to 5-10M per attachment, especially if it's a video or large graphic file. If an email box is over quota, a sender to that address will receive a rejection error message. '''How to increase email quota in cPanel''' You can set the quota needed when creating mailboxes via cPanel. Once you have entered the desired account name and password you have the option to change the email quota. By default the quota is set to 250Mb for each mailbox. The quota can be set to '''Unlimited''' or to some custom value. In your cPanel the mail over quota will be marked red. If you have the mail quota exceeded and want to increase it for already existing mailbox, just click on '''Change Quota''' next to email account needed. Once it is changed, click '''Change Quota''' again. '''Note:''' setting mail quota to ''Unlimited'' will prevent mail over quota and, therefore, you'll receive every single email sent to you.</div>
