Domain transfer
<div align=justify>Domain name transfer occurs between two registrars, your current registrar (losing registrar) and a new registrar (gaining registrar). To initiate a domain transfer, an EPP or [http://myidealhost.com/tutorials/What_is_Authorization_key%3F] authorization key is required. EPP key is a security code and it is unique for every domain name. The EPP key can be obtained from the current registrar. Before domain name can be transferred to a new registrar, make sure you have completed [http://myidealhost.com/tutorials/How_to_transfer_domain these steps]. Once the EPP key is obtained, the registrant needs to go to the new registrar (registrar he wants to transfer his domain name to) and ask to initiate a domain transfer. Then he will need to provide the EPP key. The new registrar will send an email to the administrative contact email address for the registrant to approve the transfer. By clicking the link within that email he will confirm the transfer. Note: You can check the administrative contact email address by doing a whois lookup. If administrative contact email address cannot be accessed by the registrant, he needs to ask the current registrar to change it to the one accessible for him. After the transfer approval (via following an email link), the transfer usually takes a couple of days, and may take up to a week depending on the registrar. The final step of the transfer is that the Registrant will receive a confirmation email from the new registrar of successful (or failed) domain transfer. </div>
