FTP timeout
<seo title="FTP timeout" metakeywords="FTP timeout, ftp access" metadescription="FTP timeout" /> <br> <div align=justify>There may be cases when your FTP access is blocked. What are the reasons for that? How to unblock your FTP access? Generally, FTP clients use port 21 for FTP connections. The most common reason for FTP timeout is that your firewall or Internet service provider (ISP) is blocking this port or because your FTP client is not configured to use Passive Mode. First of all, make sure that your FTP client uses Passive mode. Then, if the FTP timeout issue still persists, you need to run a connection check between your PC and the port 21. This can be done by typing the following in your command prompt: ''telnet yourdomain.com 21'' If there is a problem with the connectivity, try to disable your local firewall, or, if you still can't gain FTP access, you should contact your ISP.</div>
