SEO Forum Posting Tips
<div align=justify>There are many SEO forum posting services out there, but for the maximum benefit we advise you take an active role in your forum posting efforts. In this post we are going to look at some forum posting tips that you can put to use today to increase your website authority and traffic. Forums can be beneficial to your site and online business for a couple of reasons. First, you can drive direct traffic to your site. Second, you can build yourself up as an authority source on your subject. Finally, you can build one way links from many forums. The important thing when creating an SEO forum posting campaign is to identify what you are looking to accomplish. You may have two different campaigns with two different goals, one to simply build links, the other to engage the forum community. In this post we are going to look at link building that will engage the forum community (for those of you looking for low cost link solutions for link building, you can check out these low cost backlink packages). The first thing you need to do when looking to create an SEO forum posting campaign is identify the best forums to target. Each niche is going to have different forums that relate to it. Do a Google search for forums in your niche. It should not be hard to find a number of forums to participate in. Choose two, but choose wisely. With so many forums out there, I want to make sure that the forums I am participating in will allow a signature link or links. Many forums will require that you have at least a certain number of posts before you can add a link to your signature. That is ok and will likely be beneficial in the long run. Some forums allow signature links immediately, that is fine too. Other forums allow no links at all. If given the choice, choose two forums that will allow links in your signature. Sign up for these forums and completely fill out your profile. It is important, so I will repeat this, it is very important that you completely fill out your profile – picture, interests, etc. Make sure it is complete! If you are able to add signature links immediately, do so. Otherwise, keep track of when you can add these links and as soon as you hit the threshold go edit your signature to add these links. The links you add will depend on your forum. Most forums will allow 1-3 links. You want to link to your main site first, and if you can add more links link to another page or two that you control. A good idea is to link to a social site, your Twitter page, Facebook page, Linkedin page, etc. If you have an outside blog, Hubpage, etc, you can link there as well, or you can link to an internal page of your main site. If you can add text in addition to links, give a reason for people to click on your links. You can use a strategy similar to the one discussed in our Creating an Article Resource Box post. These forums can be great tools, but you must participate. This is why we advise signing up for only two forums. This will be an ongoing effort on your part, and you should make an effort to participate in these two forums at least a couple times per week. Take a little time and add some very useful information in your posts. Answer questions, give more information and generally make yourself helpful to other users in the forum. Doing this will drive direct traffic to your site (as long as the forum and your posts are related to your site). This traffic has upside as well – these are highly targeted visitors who will be coming to your website. Not only are they highly targeted, but there is no competition like there would be from getting visitors through search results. They don’t have to wade through the results and decide whether to visit your site or someone else’s. Instead they have read what you have to say, like what you have to say and want to read more. Participating in forums is great for direct traffic and also great for link diversity.<div>
