Domain statuses explained
<div align=justify>The domain name status can be looked up in whois information. To get the complete whois information for a domain name, you should use an online whois tools (e.g. who.is, iptools.com, etc). Below you will find a short explanation of the possible domain status codes: * '''''ACTIVE''''' status is set by the registry. The registrar can modify and renew the domain name. * '''''REGISTRY-LOCK:''''' The domain cannot be modified or deleted by the registrar but it still can be renewed withthis status. For the registrar to be able to modify the domain, the REGISTRY-LOCK status has to be removed. * '''''REGISTRAR-LOCK:''''' The domain can be renewed but cannot be modified or deleted. To modify the domain, the REGISTRAR-LOCK status has to be removed by the registrar. * '''''REGISTRY-HOLD:''''' This status means that the registrar can not modify or delete the domain name but it can renew it. To allow the domain modification by the registrar, the REGISTRY-HOLD status must be removed by the registry. * '''''REGISTRAR-HOLD''''' status means that modification or deletion of domain is prohibited but it still can be renewed. In order to modify the domain, the registrar has to remove the REGISTRAR-HOLD status. * '''''REDEMPTIONPERIOD:''''' This status is set when the deletion of the domain name from the registry is requested. Only domain restoration is allowed here. The domain can remain in this status for no more than 30 calendar days. * '''''PENDINGRESTORE''''' status is set when the registrar of a domain name, which has REDEMPTIONPERIOD status, requests restoration. Domain cannot be modified, despite of the registrar requests. This status will remain till the registrar provides the required documentation for restoration. If the restoration request cannot be confirmed to the registry within 7 calendar days, the status will be changed to REDEMPTIONPERIOD. In case the required documentation is provided to the registry within 7 calendar days to confirm the restoration, the domain status will be changed to ACTIVE. * '''''PENDINGDELETE:''''' This status follows the REDEMPTIONPERIOD status and means that the domain has not been renewed by the registrar. This status sets rejection to all registrar requests to modify or otherwise update the domain. The domain will get removed from the registry database after 5 calendar days of being in this status.</div>
