<div align=justify>If you have a site that consists of many pages and contains a lot of information, you can create a search box to it for the visitors to find information on your website quickly. Your cPanel includes an application that can be used to generate and add a search box to your site.

This tutorial will explain to you how exactly to create a search box:

* Log into your cPanel => Software/Services => CGI Center;

* From the '''CGI Center''', under '''Entropy Search''', click ''''Setup Search Engine'''. A sample search box will be shown to you together with the HTML code that creates it.

To add a search box:

* Copy the text beginning with '''''<form>''''' and ending with '''''</form>''''' and paste it into the web page where you want the search box to appear. 

You can add a background image, change the background color, or edit the title of the results page by clicking '''Edit Search Results Template'''. But note that this requires skills of working with HTML. Once the changes for the created search box are made, click '''Save'''.

'''Important:''' to be able to search the website, you must click the '''Rebuild Search Index''' link under '''Entropy Search''' in the CGI Center. This creates an internal list of your website’s contents, so they can be searched. It’s recommended to click this link each time you add new pages to your website.
