How to leave emails on the server
<div align=justify>The incoming server configuration for your email client defines whether emails will be left on the server or removed after being downloaded locally. If you are using IMAP email accounts, then your messages will always be left on the server (until deleted). When using POP3, you can choose whether to leave the emails on the server or download them to your computer and then delete them from the server. The exact configuration of this feature varies depending on the email client you are using. Here are some examples: * For Thunderbird: Tools => Account Settings => Server Settings for the account => "Leave Messages on the server". * For Outlook: Internet E-mail Settings => Advanced Tab => "Leave a copy of the messages on the server" Having those options checked will allow you to download the emails locally and also keep them on the server. If the "Leave messages on server" option is unchecked, the emails will be automatically deleted from the server after being downloaded by the email client.</div>
